What do I have
to pay when I purchase property?

Purchase Tax
is approximately 1.5% of the selling price (Buyer to pay)

Agents commission is 3% of the selling price

Tax is paid annually for local services (approx£ 8.00)

is 0.5% of the property price paid annually (Approx £50 - £60)

Items 6 , 7
and 8 are paid during the contract procedure.

Item 1 is
paid upon reciept of the title deeds (Tapu).

Item 2 is
paid when the electric and water meters are registered in the purchasers name.

Item 9 is
payable if a person cannot come to Turkey to collect their title deeds. Power
of Attorney can be signed over to us and we can collect the deeds on behalf of
our client.

Payments 1,
2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are one time payments. Items 4 and 5 are paid annually.
Whether you
are purchasing for pleasure, re-location or according to a budget, or perhaps
all three we will discuss your requirements with you prior to viewing. When we
have found your ideal home and a price is agreed, then a contract will be drawn
up between yourselves and the seller of the property (using a Solicitor). This
confirms the price and any other details that have been agreed upon.At this
point a deposit is paid to the seller and the dates of your future payments are
agreed on. Two passport photographs are required of the person(s) whose name(s)
will be on the Title Deeds as well as a photocopy of your passport(s). Should
you decide that you would like us to collect the Title Deeds on your behalf,
then we can arrange Power of Attorney with you at this time. We will then
continue with the other transactions such as the permission from the Military
and the registration of the property into your name(s).
